Furthermore, Candy Crush Soda Saga has a scoring scale that gives up to three stars based on how many points you get, and you have to reach at least a one star score to advance.  You’re going to want to match-3, 4, or 5, of the same colors to get points, certain types of special candies, and to reach your point goal. 2. The Soda on the Board Changes EVERYTHING

When there is soda on the board in your level of Candy Crush Soda Saga, your pieces start acting differently. Pieces that are above the soda line, or that are on the dry part of the board can continue to fall like a normal match-3. But when candies that are submerged in soda start to float up, this means that you will be able to have pieces moving in two different directions, and really have to assess where things will end up.

You won’t find soda on every board in the game, but that doesn’t mean that the pieces fall down on all the others. You will find that there are several levels where the pieces move in various ways, which include multiple directions including spiral.  When you’re in soda levels, you will have to match soda bottles to raise the soda level, and then collect a certain amount of them before you can move on to the next level.

3. Take Advantage of the New Special Candies

There are two new candies in Candy Crush Soda Saga.  Fish Special Candy are a brand new special candy that you will be able to make by matching four candies together that are in a square shape. Once the Fish Special Candy have been activated they swim to an obstruction or soda bottle and remove it.  Coloring Candy Bomb can be produced by matching six or more candies of the same color together. 4. Get More Special Candies & Sodas

In Candy Crush Soda Saga special candies are when you combine more than three candies of the same color together with just one match. Example: So if you match 4 – 7 candies together you get a special candy. Special candies will help you get through the toughest Candy Crush Soda Saga levels.
